Editing Evidence

An authorized user can edit information in an evidence record that has been previously input and saved in the application. To edit a record, first, the user must locate the desired record. Once the user locates the record by using the search option in the “Evidence Log,” they will need to double click on the record they want to change. The record will then open in edit mode and information about the piece of evidence can be edited. When the user is finished the changes will not take effect permanently until the record is saved by selecting “Save.”
