Auditing

Evidence Tracker makes it easier to audit your evidence.

You have a couple of options when auditing.

  • Audit your evidence at lightning speed with a Windows tablet
  • Print a report and audit your room with a clipboard
  • Audit your evidence at high speed with a portable data terminal.

Audit your evidence with a tablet

The fastest way to audit your evidence is with our Tablet Auditor system. Walk through the warehouse scanning bar codes for shelf locations and pieces of evidence.

  • Save it as you go.
  • Check the report as you go.
  • Get an instant heads-up if you scan something in the wrong bin.

Print a report and audit with a clipboard

This is what departments with a small evidence room do.  With under 200 pieces you can easily knock out the audit by hand.  While this option takes longer than the tablet it is always available for those who want to do it old school.

Audit your evidence with a data terminal

Earlier versions of the software were shipped with an HT630 portable data terminal instead of a tablet. It followed a similar workflow to the tablet: scanning inventory as you walk through the warehouse. Customers that bought a system with an HT630 can upgrade to the tablet for a discount
